CONSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
Second Chance accepts consignments every day except Sunday and Monday from 10:30AM – 5 PM.
We accept designer labels and labels from local boutiques (see example labels on home page). Please do not remove designer name labels, fabric content and care instructions.
We accept items seasonally. Every garment must be freshly cleaned, laundered, dry cleaned and/or ironed.
All handbags must be authentic – Absolutely no faux/fake items are sold at Second Chance. Second Chance operates on a 90 day resale cycle and what ever is sold from the 1st to the 31st of each month, a consignment check will be mailed by the 10th of the next month.
We split the proceeds 50-50 with the consignor. Prices are used as a guideline. The price listed for each item is the best price we think we can get for your clothing. It is only a guideline and reductions can be taken at the discretion of the owner.
IAll items priced above $100 must be picked up before the end of 90 days. All unclaimed items and those under $100 become the property of Second Chance and may be sent to charity after 90 days.
It is the client's responsibility to locate items in the store for return at the end of the contract period.

There are two things which make Second Chance a wonderful experience; first, Barbara Blesi who makes everyone feel welcome and has an eye for quality and fashion and second, the merchandise is current and beautiful....Second Chance is on my list of places to visit in the DC area along with the museums, monuments and great restaurants! It is a must visit! — Cheryl S.
